PhD Enrolment Film for The University of Oxford

We were commissioned by the University of Oxford to produce a one-minute video to promote their PhD programmes.

Victoria Forth from the University contacted us to produce a short video for a paid media campaign to promote an EDI event they were hosting in a few weeks time. We worked with Victoria on the script and after a couple discussions we began sourcing footage for the film.

We had complete creative control on this project and made the creative decision to treat each question as a slide from an old-school projector. This allowed us to include some analogue texture and visual interest to the film, whilst also tapping into the history of education and the university.

The project took two days to edit we were able to deliver the film on time for the paid media campaign to promote the event.

I approached Story Ninety-Four for a short, one-minute promotional trailer that I needed extremely quickly. Once Matt had the information he needed from me, he turned this around in an incredibly short time, and produced a beautiful, attention-grabbing piece, which I was proud to share. My colleagues were so impressed they dived in and asked him to make versions that were tailored to their remits. I thoroughly recommend Matt and Story Ninety-Four, and we will certainly be working with them again in the future.
