Audio Interface
Hardware that connects microphones and other audio equipment to a computer for recording.
An audio interface allows the use of XLR microphones with devices that do not natively accept them, such as a computer, allowing you to record natively to your PC. Audio interfaces also allow the use of multiple microphones at once, creating isolated tracks for each input.
