Taboo-busting Podcast from The University of Oxford
When we were approached in March 2023 by a faculty member of the University of Oxford’s chemistry department about a student-led podcast, they knew what they wanted to achieve and had a great concept but lacked the necessary technical expertise to bring this idea to life.
We stepped in to provide the much-needed technical support, helping with everything from podcast recording, editing, and production, to hosting and the production of promotional assets.
Production took place over three recording sessions in May 2023 at our Oxford studio, in which 6 episodes and a trailer were recorded. We collaborated closely with the student team throughout, carefully considering their vision for the project. By working closely with the students involved, we were able to develop the tone and presentation of the podcast, in line with their current branding parameters, including podcast artwork, licensed music and promotional materials.
The episodes were released weekly, beginning in late May 2023 , and were met with a positive reception. Through our collaboration, the podcast was able to deliver informative and engaging content to its audience consistently, and with a tone that matched their social media and in-person efforts.
