Clipping
Distortion that occurs when an audio signal exceeds the maximum limit.
Clipping will occur when an audio signal is to great and will affect the audio quality of that segment. There are several ways you can avoid clipping. You could do this manually by adjusting the gain on the inputs to ensure that the maximum limit is not reached. Alternatively, you could automate the process through the use of a limiter or compressor.
